  • Responsible for managing financial operations, maintaining and

    presenting all financial records required for chapter operations in accordance with chapter bylaws, local legislation requirements and the PMI Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

Vice President – Membership
  • Responsible for addressing the needs of chapter membership, including membership, recruitment, retention, and associated value delivery.
  • All efforts will be in accordance with PMI GHQ and chapter guidelines, and will support the overall mission, goals and strategies of the chapter.

Vice President – Outreach
  • Responsible for developing a strategy and implementing programs that form sustainable partnerships and yield mutual benefits for four areas: community, professional organizations, corporate organizations and educational institutions.
  • These activities shall be performed in accordance with chapter bylaws and PMI policies.
  • This position may have volunteers reporting to it.

President Elect
  • The president of the chapter directs, has an overview of, and coordinates the activities of the other board members in accordance with the chapter bylaws and PMI Global policies.

Board Trustee #1

Note: Candidates must be a former Board member to apply.

  • Serves in the role of advisor and historian for the organization, this position is generally extended to individuals with long standing in the chapter who have often held multiple board positions and have been involved in the development and continuation of chapter programs.
  • Examples of eligible candidates are past presidents and vice presidents.

  • Term Service Dates: The term for these positions begins on January 1, 2024 and ends on December 31, 2025. Note: In addition, if you are elected, there is a transition period that runs from July 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 that allows you to shadow the incumbent and become fully aware of your new responsibilities.

 

  • Commitment Level & Benefits of Board Member Roles:
    • Commitment: 25-40 hrs/month; 6-month orientation period + 2-year term; fulfill role per documented position description.
    • Benefits: free admittance to all monthly dinner events; free admittance to one full-day event annually.
