Project of the Year Awards 2018
Applications for the 2018 Project of the Year are now closed. Please join us on September 25, 2018 at the Fall Professional Development Day event to celebrate the 2018 winners of the Project of the Year award.
PMI Buffalo has presented its Project of the Year Award to one outstanding project every year, for the past fourteen years.
Winners from past years have been outstanding examples of project management principles at work: overcoming obstacles, putting in hours of work, coming together as a team in a striving towards excellence. What sometimes seems impossible, is finally achieved.
In 2018, the fifteenth year of its presentation, we have decided to take the Project Management of the Year Awards a couple of steps forward. Now, instead of one Project of the Year Award, there are three different categories, and three different nominees representing project management at its best, but in different ways.
Corporate/Professional Project Category
Community/Non-Profit Project Category
Emerging Leaders/Student Project Category
Awards this year will include a $500 cash prize, and access to PMI membership benefits such as professional development and the opportunity to showcase your project to the WNY community.
If your project is one where both the team and the organization can attribute their overall success to an effective integration of the PMI Methodology, then your project is eligible for this prestigious award. This is your opportunity to publically recognize and honor your team and their accomplishments, your project and your company.
THE DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS HAS EXTENDED TO September 10, 2018
