Project of the Year Awards 2018
In the Buffalo community, the importance of non-profit involvement is undeniable. Through these institutions, neighborhoods are revitalized and public needs are met. Often it is through its non-for-profits that the inter-generational promise a community makes to its residents can be kept.
But how a Non-Profit is managed and the skill with which individual projects are accomplished will determine the level of impact of such organizations on the communities they serve.
Community/Non-Profit Project Category
This category is for projects from the non-profit and/or community grassroots setting which exhibit outstanding returns, in the currency of community benefits.
Through the precise, resourceful, comprehensive work required to see them through— and through their overarching vision—they foster the public good with deep, often incalculable, returns.
We are seeking projects with a clear impact or return on investment; projects which bring something new and useful to the community as a whole. Projects where innovation stands out. We want to know the stories behind these projects; the challenges faced and how they were overcome.
THE DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS September 7, 2018.
