Job Description

  • Coordinate information gathering efforts for presentations, newsletter, website with Director of Membership Communications
  • Review information on PMI Buffalo website homepage to ensure relevance, timeliness, accuracy of postings, solicit information and/or update as needed
  • Update the scrolling notes on PMI Buffalo website on a regular basis
  • Assist in the creation of powerpoint presentations for Professional Development events
  • Assist in the creation of PMI Buffalo newsletter, including gathering information, layout, edit and proofreading
  • Assist in coordination and release of chapter e-mail information
  • Assist in other Member Communications tasks and special projects as needed

Skills Requirement

  • Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, specifically for or proofreading
  • Communication skills and willingness to work with team and Board members to drive task completions

Position Duration and Effort Expectations

12 month position. Average 6 hrs/month

Initial effort to assist in developing schedules, standardized procedures and communication protocols – may require 3-4 hours a week.

Pre-dinner Power point Presentations

Newsletter article solicitation

Obtain new reprint permissions or renewals needed

Update reprint permission list (tbd)
