Job Description

Responsible for the collection and editing of new content and the dissemination of information to PMI membership base across standard channels and marketing tools.Works closely with the Director, Social Media, by sharing new content for social media and alternate channels

Position Duration and Effort Expectations

15-25 hours/month; 1 year minimum

Position Deliverables

Specific duties of the position include:

  • Work closely with Communications Team (VP, Marketing & Communications, Director, Social Media, and Marketing & Communication Team Members) to develop communication strategies, content and distribution.
  • Receive content and content requests from Chapter Board, Directors, Committee members, volunteers and other sources.   • Responsible for overseeing the development of:

ü  Chapter Newsletter

ü  Weekly e-mail to member & prospects

ü  Website Homepage articles

ü  Pre-event presentations

  • Oversee team of 3-4 volunteers along with Director, Marketing  & Director, Member Communications
  • Adhere to Chapter’s Branding strategy and Communication guidelines
