Happy Independence Day from PMI Buffalo! 

As we reflect on the 247 year-old grand experiment called America, I thought it would be fun to encourage you all to test out how well you know your history.

But before the test, here are some fun facts to prime you:

• Did you know that even though the Declaration of Independence was announced on July 4th, 1776, the colonies actually voted to accept it on July 2nd and it was not actually signed until August 2nd?

• George Washington did not sign the declaration of Independence.  He was leading his forces in New York City defending Manhattan in July of 1776.
