President's Message - August, 2016
I hope that everyone has been enjoying their summer thus far. It is hard to believe that we are half way through it already!
Your PMI Buffalo Chapter Board will be convening on Saturday, August 20th for a full day of Annual Planning. We will be discussing the following aspects of our chapter: mission and vision, stakeholders, SWOC (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges), strategic issues and key strategies.
The primary output of this session will be alignment of our functional areas around what matters most to our membership and other stakeholders, so that they can prepare comprehensive 2017 Operational Plans. These operational plans are what we put into place to support our various programs and services. Below is a summary of our functional areas, including information on those individuals who have begun a 6-month orientation period before they take over their new roles effective 1/1/17.
