A word from the President

At our Annual Meeting at Riverworks this week, in addition to taking an interesting tour of the facility, we took a few minutes to highlight the chapter’s 2015 accomplishments. Here is a link to our 2015 Annual Report – please download it and take a look at all of the programs and services we provided last year for both members and associates.

When you consider that all of these activities were organized and executed by volunteers, it is really an amazing achievement! I am so proud to be a part of this all-volunteer organization and work side by side with so many amazing Project Management professionals.

So take a look at our annual report and pick an area in which you would like to make a difference. Then contact our VP Membership, Carrie Myers, or Director Volunteers, Barb Cosgrove and let them know where you want to help.

Our next events are a breakfast roundtable on February 25th – the topic is Projects and Project Management in non-traditional industries, a breakfast roundtable on March 17th - Budgeting & Chargebacks, and a dinner meeting on March 22nd at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute.

Our April events include a Volunteer Recognition dinner, a breakfast roundtable, and a dinner and Professional Development Day featuring Susane Madsen. Susanne will be presenting “The Secret to Authentic Leadership in Projects”. We continue to build out our 2nd Quarter 2016 Events program, and will issue an update to it shortly. Meanwhile see the right side of our website’s Home page for more information on upcoming events.

We hope to see you soon!

JoAnn
