President's Message - January, 2017
Hello to all of our members, prospective members and followers!
The PMI Buffalo Chapter's Board and all of our volunteers wish you and yours a very Happy New Year and look forward to serving you this year - through our dinner and breakfast events, professional days, educational sessions, outreach and volunteer opportunities, and all of our member services.
We will be sharing the list of great events with you shortly, but today I wanted to take a moment to recognize the past and share with you our plan for the future.
First - a look back - I want to thank all our past volunteers for their exceptional efforts. You make this chapter what it is - an award-winning model that invests in our members, gives back to our community and consistently strives to promote the Project Management Institute (PMI) and professional project management practices in the Buffalo Niagara Regional area.
Now - a look ahead - The Board is focused on investing in our members and this year we have some exciting events planned and for the first time we will share with our members the financial health of the organization. This step provides transparency for how this Board works every day for you - our members. Interested in learning more - Look for our annual meeting scheduled for Feb!
Until then, buckle up! 2017 is all about you and how this chapter can help you succeed!
