President's Message - May 2023
Hello PMI Buffalo!
During our April dinner event we learned some great tips and best practices from Markley Ward with Clarity Consulting group, and actually had a lot of fun discussing … contracts?! This was a joint event with our friends over at ISM Buffalo and we look forward to continuing this annual tradition again next year in April 2024, so stay tuned for more details about that toward the end of this year.
This week we are excited to finally hear from our guest speaker Bridge Rauch about the blizzard cleanup efforts from the snowstorm that rocked Buffalo at the end of December, disrupting many folks holiday plans. This event was originally scheduled as our February dinner event, but had to be canceled due to an ice storm … oh the irony! Gotta love these Buffalo winters :) So far the forecast looks like it will cooperate for Tuesday night, so I am looking forward to seeing a lot of you at Chef's restaurant for a good time!
