PMP PREP: Fall 2019 at MOOG Tuesday PMP/CAPM Exam Preparation Sessions (9/17/2019 – 10/17/2019) 5 Weeks

Project Management Professional (PMP) OR Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification
The Buffalo Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) will sponsor a series of Certification Prep Workshop Sessions totaling 35 hours, which will help you prepare for the PMP or CAPM exams and satisfy the formal project management training requirement of either certification.
The PMP requirement is for 35 hours of formal project management education while the CAPM requirement is for 23 hours.
What You Can Expect to Learn
The PMP/CAPM Examination Preparation Session thoroughly covers the PMBOK Sixth Edition, which is the basis for both the PMP and CAPM exams.
The workshop is not intended to teach project management, but to provide a framework to prepare for the certification exam. Subjects include scope, time, risk, cost, quality, procurement, communications, stakeholder management, resource management, integration, professional responsibility, and study preparation.
Note: The PMBOK is not included in the cost of the workshop. The PMBOK can be downloaded without charge from PMI Global as a benefit of PMI membership.
The class materials will be distributed at your first class. You will be provided a complete InAct All-in- One kit, an InAct student workbook and additional online access keys. Inside the All-in- One kit, students will receive the textbook, a quick reference guide, flashcards and conversations on CD.
The back of the textbook also contains a key card to InSite access. It will provide them with the URL, brief instructions on getting started and a code for a 1-week trial access to the online Pass the PMP course. That same key is bundled with 1-month access to Practice Test A. This is a 200 question mock exam that students can take over and over again.
Class Makeup or Exam Retake:
Workshop meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 classes for 5 weeks from 5:45 PM to 9:15 PM. Light supper will be provided beginning at 5:30 p.m.

From Route 400 South, take the Jamison Road Exit. Right turn onto Jamison Road. Take the 1st left into the Moog drive. Take the 1st exit on the right. Take the 2nd exit on the left. Turn left into the parking area.

From Seneca Street, Turn left onto Jamison Road. Turn right into the last Moog drive before Route 400. Take the 1st exit on the right. Take the 2nd exit on the left. Turn left into the parking area.
Enter at the main front entrance.
Someone will be waiting at the inside door to let you into the building if you are not a Moog employee.
We will be meeting on the top floor (the level at which you enter) in Conference Room 201.
The list fee for the session is $1100.00
