Presentation: Why AI Investment Isn't Mat
ching AI AdoptionThis presentation examines why organizations can invest h
eavily in AI yet struggle to achieve sustained adoption and measurable bus
iness value\, particularly in legacy financial institutions. The talk iden
tifies five common causes of the AI adoption gap:&nbsp\; - Starting with t
echnology rather than business problems&nbsp\; - Lacking a shared business
language&nbsp\; - Misalignment between business and technology teams&nbsp
\; - Insufficient data and governance foundations&nbsp\; - Treating adopti
on as a final rollout activityIt then introduces a practical five-step fra
 mework: build pain-point literacy\, create a business-language taxonomy\,
assign ownership of the business-to-technology translation layer\, establi
sh an AI-capable operating foundation\, and design trust-based adoption fr
om the beginning. You will leave with a practical approach to connect AI i
nvestments to clear workflows\, accountable decisions\, reliable informati
 on\, and meaningful human participation.
