"Think like Your Customer"
Building the right product is better that building the wrong one fast. To be effective in your role at delivering a successful product or service, you have to be able to think like your customer. This is a workshop style session where participants will go through facilitated exercises working in small teams.

This workshop will introduce you to three techniques: 
1) Empathy Maps: Design thinking technique to develop deeper understanding about your customer.
2) Value driven User Stories: Expressing user stories in meaningful way.
3) Story Maps: Capturing user experience through your product feature or service stream.

Roll up your sleeves for active engagement in this workshop style session. Bring your team members if you are struggling in your project and you can work through your problem in this workshop.

Speaker Bio

Dhaval Panchal is a senior consultant, enterprise agile coach and trainer for agile42. He is a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and Innovation Games Facilitator.

Dhaval has 15 years of experience, working in development and management of product and services in the software industry. Dhaval started his career as developer where he actively practiced Extreme Programming (XP) engineering practices and over the years he discovered his passion to coach, train and enable organizations towards Agile transformation. Dhaval has experience working with Fortune 100 companies to startups, where his clients domain have spanned across telecommunications, business process engineering, shipping, e-discovery, legal, gaming, health insurance and oil & gas. He has contributed positively to organizational change and leadership development internationally.

As an agile coach, Dhaval brings results oriented, people centric perspective. He is often described as creative simplifier who is able to navigate clients through variety of challenging contexts. Dhaval’s approach towards coaching and training is contextual - appreciation and awareness of client’s situation and goals are important to him, allowing him to help client organizations to focus on signals over noise. Far from a dogmatic Agilist, he exposes trade-offs that client organizations have to make in the “real world” so that they get most value from their Agile transformation efforts. In addition to his more than fifteen years of experience in implementing and coaching on XP, Scrum, Kanban and Lean, Dhaval is an expert facilitator sought after by leadership teams to make sense of complex organizational situations and drive towards action.
