It is often said that communication is the key to successful project management, that doing it well (or not doing it well!) affects all aspects of our projects. Thus, the challenges encountered are also multi-faceted – from finding the right word, to having the right tools, to language, cultural and generational challenges.
What is your greatest communication challenge? Do you have an adequate solution? We all learn about communications planning as part of our profession – is formal communication planning part of your practice, and does it adequately address your challenges? What have you found that works, and in what areas could you use some ideas?
During this meeting, we will discuss our collective experience and challenges on the topic (once decided), as well as available suggestions and information on the way that our industry should be approaching these and other questions.
