In March, Jackie May presented her experience with this topic – there are projects to address a variety of challenges, and there may be more opportunity to manage such projects in the future, with the evolution of certification in this area.
Have you ever worked on a project with environmental impact? Is it different from other projects? How? Environmental work can often be long term, with end results difficult to measure in current terms – so how are these projects defined? Will it require a different methodology than those we already know about, or can they fit easily into our existing methodologies?
Would you like to work on a project with an environmental impact, but don’t know where to start, or what the qualifications would look like? Are all such projects just a labor of love, or can they provide a decent living? If you were able to attend Jackie’s presentation, what were your takeaways? What more do we need to know?
During this meeting, we will discuss our collective experience and challenges on this topic, as well as available suggestions and information on the way that our industry should be approaching these and other questions.
