Dear PMI Buffalo Members,
We recently held our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Gala, and it was nothing short of amazing. It was a wonderful evening to reflect on our collective accomplishments and recognize the incredible people who bring our chapter to life.
Each of our Vice Presidents shared the milestones from their respective areas, highlighting the dedication and teamwork that fuel our success. The atmosphere was warm and energizing—and I left feeling truly inspired after our guest speaker’s presentation.
It was also a joy to connect with so many of you in person, including some of our newest members. These kinds of events remind us that PMI Buffalo is more than just a professional organization, it’s a supportive community.
Looking ahead, we’ve got some exciting events on the horizon:
- This month, we welcome back Jeff Manhardt for a live demonstration on using AI tools to elevate your project management practice.
- This fall, we celebrate a major milestone: PMI Buffalo’s 30th Anniversary Picnic on September 13th! This will be a family-friendly celebration with food, fun, and great memories—don’t miss it!
- We’re also in the early planning stages for an in-person Fall Professional Development Day (PDD) and some local engagement projects that we’ll be excited to share more about soon.
As we reflect on this month’s focus on volunteer appreciation, I want to personally say thank you for the tremendous support I’ve received in my role as President. This journey has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s because of members like you that we continue to thrive and grow.
Here’s to continued connection, collaboration, and a fantastic rest of the year!
Best regards,
Vince McKeown
President, PMI Buffalo
