Member Profile Update

PMI Buffalo receives your demographic and contact information from the information you provide to PMI Global when you join the organization at the PMI Global website.  On a monthly basis, our local Buffalo chapter of PMI receives a file download which contains the information from those PMI Global members who also decided to enroll with our chapter.

If your address, phone number or email address has changed, we may not be able to communicate with you correctly.  Meeting announcements, email bulletins, and other notifications are sent from our email system based on the name and email address information provided on the monthly file downloaded from PMI Global.

For BUFFALO PMI Chapter members only, it is important to note that since we update our files every month from PMI Global information, all changes to your demographic and contact profile need to be made at PMI Global.  If you are a member and you update your email address on our site through the button on one of our emails, the change will only be effective until we receive and apply the next PMI Global member file.  Their information overwrites what we have on file for members.

People who have requested to be on our email list and are not PMI Buffalo chapter members can only update their profile from our emails or a button on our site.  They are not included in the PMI Global list of our chapter members.

Again, For BUFFALO PMI Chapter members only, changes to your demographic and contact profile information must be done through PMI Global. You can make those changes in one of three ways:

  1. Make the changes yourself online! Current member's demographic information can now be edited online by accessing the My PMI area of PMI Global's website.
    • To access this secure area, you need your membership ID number and password. If you do not have a password, please call the PMI Customer Service department at (610) 356-4600 (option 8 on the phone menu).
    • To edit your membership information online, use either Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0+, or Netscape Navigator 4.7+ as your web browser. For AOL users, you will need AOL 5.0 or higher.

  2. Call the PMI Customer Service department at (610) 356-4600 (option 8 on the phone menu), and give them your changes, or

  3. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Include your name and PMI membership number and the change information.
