Cybersecurity - Unleashing the Value of Risk Assessments
Risk management is an essential part of delivering successful projects. Brian Powell and Robert Waters will discuss assessing risk from a cybersecurity perspective.
A well-defined and thorough process for identifying, evaluating, and remedying potential threats, risks and vulnerabilities within an organization’s technical infrastructure. These assessments are structured and implemented to identify potential threats or weaknesses to various assets (such as hardware, software, data, intellectual property, processes, etc.), allocate quantifiable value, significance, and potential impact to those assets, and ultimately provide prioritized mitigation recommendations or measures to either reduce or remove those weaknesses. Risk assessments identify the financial, reputational, business continuity, and regulatory risks to an organization.
