You must be a current member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) to join the PMI Buffalo Chapter.
If you are already a PMI member and would like to join the PMI Buffalo Chapter:
Our chapter membership fee is $30. Student membership is available for $10 if you are enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program.
There are three ways to join the PMI Buffalo Chapter:
- Add your PMI Buffalo Chapter membership on-line by selecting this link (Note: you will be redirected to Project Management Institute Global website).
- Call the PMI Customer Service department at (610) 356-4600 and make a credit card payment of $30 ($10 if a student) for chapter dues.
- Send a written notification to the PMI Membership department stating that you would like to join the Buffalo Chapter, including a check for $30 ($10 if a student) for chapter dues.
Mail the completed application and payment to:

Join the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Applying is easy.
You do not have to be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) to become a member. All you have to do is complete a Membership Application and pay the annual dues. Application for membership can be made either online or via mail. Annual memberships are as follows:
Individual Membership is $129 plus a $10 application fee + $30 for membership in the PMI Buffalo Chapter.
Student Membership is $32 + $10 for membership in the PMI Buffalo Chapter. Note: A person must be enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program in order to qualify for Student Membership.
You must be a PMI member to join a local chapter.
Applying Online
To apply for Individual Membership, you may apply Online via the PMI Membership area of the PMI Global website. You may pay with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Diners Club). For student membership, or corporate billing, or another payment method, see 'Applying via Mail' below.
Applying Via Mail
To apply via mail, follow these steps:
- Go to the PMI Membership area and download the Membership Application form.
- PMI will mail the packet to you within five business days. Follow the instructions in the application form and mail it to:
