In October, we began our series on Automation – as a project and within projects.  As noted during that first discussion, some of the challenges we face/will face are like those we already address – proper definition of the project, and proper understanding of the resources available to us, as well as embracing new ideas and encouraging our constituents to do the same, in a sane, intelligent manner.

For this meeting, we’ll continue our discussion around some of these challenges – are you already using automation in some of your projects?  Are you already managing automation projects?  As discussed in October, there can be a wide variety of these, from manufacturing to healthcare, and within software itself. 

What are the challenges you are facing and how have you dealt with them?  What would be helpful to you in the path forward for managing these projects, or managing projects that include automation?  Are you facing any mandates to use or not use certain automation, or certain project management models?  Is there anything that your chapter or PMI Global could provide that would be useful?

No registration necessary. Just show up for a coffee, bagel, and conversation with fellow practitioners.

This interactive event is an opportunity to gather area Project Managers to discuss issues that affect our work and careers.  Participants are encouraged to share their challenging experiences and benefit from the combined knowledge of attendees.   Also, this meeting is a great way to network, get answers to your questions about your projects and get greater benefit from your PMI membership.   Please bring your challenges, suggestions, etc.
